Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Ag/Commercial Lender to join our lending team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of agricultural and commercial loans, cultivating client relationships, and supporting the financial needs of local businesses and farm operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, service, and grow a portfolio of ag and commercial loans.
Analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness and loan risk.
Structure loan packages and negotiate terms with clients.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and actively seek new lending opportunities.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with credit analysts, loan support staff, and other departments to deliver top-tier service.
Attend community events and maintain a visible presence to strengthen business development efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Agriculture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of lending experience, preferably in ag/commercial sectors.
Strong knowledge of agricultural operations and local business environments.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Proven ability to analyze financial statements and assess loan risk.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a team-focused mindset.
